» Information for New Visitors

This page really isn't necessary. I just added it so that you could make decisions that would enhance your viewing experience when browsing this webpage. This individual page also exists to show my devotion to web standards and how I'm constantly trying to improve in that area.

Multi-Browser Compatible

I made this webpage usable in nearly every mainstream browser, which includes Firefox, Opera, all versions of Internet Explorer, as well as several others. This website looks best in anything except Internet Explorer. This isn't to say it looks terrible in IE, but there are some coding bits that only other browsers are able to read. But that's only because IE is a load of crap that should rot eternally and (hopefully) not because of my coding.

Standards Compliant

I take standards seriously and strive toward having structurally and semantically correct coding whenever possible. This means that I frequently use the W3 Validator to validate my website and make my coding as correct as possible. Since I'm only human, I'll probably make a few mistakes here and there, but for the most part, I'll always make sure that I my coding is correct.

Stealing Won't Be Tolerated

This is just a side note, since there really isn't another designated place on this website that deals with this sort of thing. For clarification, stealing does not only include blatantly ripping of another person's design and exact coding. That's a common misconception, because stealing also includes getting inspired from another's work. You can read more about this in this well-written article.

In other words, please don't rip off anything I've made and pass it off as your own. If you'd like to look into my CSS and analyze little things, I'd be more than happy to let you, but please respect the work I've put into what I've created and refrain from stealing entire ideas. No, I won't make a dumb "Wall of Shame" if you do, but I might instead make the whole situation known to everyone (not that there's anything inspiring here anyway...this is just a precaution).
