Ol' Generic Brushes
» Have a look around, maybe?
Here are a few old brush sets that I used to provide on my last website. They're pretty generic and can basically
be found anywhere, and they were put up here mainly so that I could glance back at the graphics I used to post
on my website (even though a few of them are less than satisfactory). I don't know though; they might help a
few people out.
If you like to use my brushes, please link back to show your appreciation. A link back isn't necessary, but
it would make my quite happy. You may not claim these as your own or redistribute them, however.
These brushes are only in stamp form. If you need help, use Google. I won't be providing any.
- Butterflies *
- This was one of my sister's doodles. I absolutely love it and figured it might as well not go to waste on my hard drive.
- Crossword
- A simple crossword puzzle brush set made out of various scans from a magazine. It's alright, but I just
wish there were more texture to it.
- Drawn Stars *
- Yet another one of my sister's creations. I believe she drew most of it in pen...Sometimes I wish I could
draw like that.
- Fingerpaints
- I actually had real paint marks all over my hands after making these in my basement. It was pretty fun!
- Flower
- This one was primarily based off of a coaster that was sitting by my computer. The little extra part on the right was
part of a picture frame that was lying around.
- Grunge #1
- Just a few random grunge brushes. I don't like how they're feathered, and I feel that the quality is just too low.
Not my best.
- Grunge #2
- More grunge! This time, however, we have a lighter brush set. It's almost too light, but I still like it.
- Old History Test
- This originated from a crumpled up history test (which
*ahem* I aced). It had something to do with the Civil War, I think.
- Mascara
- One of the most unoriginal brush sets I've ever made. Seriously, mascara brush marks?
You can find those almost anywhere nowadays.
- Medicine Type
- Taken out of a really boring advertisement in a magazine...One of my less inspired brush sets, to say the least.
- Misc. *
- Miscellaneous and just all-around goodness. I found these in my sister's folder on my computer, and she
gave me permission to post them up.
- New York Grunge
- I actually forgot about this one. It's based off an old shopping bag from the mall. Fun, eh?
- Science
- These are okay, I suppose. I wish I didn't feather the edges though. I feel I could have made everything
a bit cleaner-looking.
- Sports Section
- This was one of the first brush sets I ever made. I actually like it a lot. Fortunately, after I uploaded the file,
the newspaper quality was still visible (this made me quite happy).
- Swirly *
- Beautiful, I say! The brushes look a little like bird wings. They're so cool!
- Trigonometry
- Not really Trig, actually. The level of math in the brushes is more like Advanced Algebra...Just thought
you should know, heh.
* created by my sister. All the credit goes to her.
That's all I have to offer for now. :)
