Since my About Me page only reveals general information about me, this page is devoted to sharing my personal interests and habits. (Hey, we're all narcissists to some degree!)
My Music Tastes
I'm a picky music lady. I rarely ever listen to mainstream pop, except on rare occasions when the music is actually decent. I'm one of those oddballs who likes music because it's genuinely interesting and thought-provoking--not just because it has a good beat (of course, there are exceptions, but not many).
As of today, I am a sucker for electronica, strings, and orchestral techno. Hand me some Björk (Homogenic is an amazing album), some late 70s through early 80s experimental David Bowie, a few Moby singles, and some early 90s U2, and I'll be happy for a while.
I do listen to a lot more artists than the ones I listed, but I'm sure that if I dumped out a huge list of all my favorites, you probably wouldn't read it all anyway. If you'd like to see everything I listen to, feel free to visit my last.fm profile. I also have a youtube account.

I'm very "into" the political realm. One reason for this is that my parents always leave a news network on while I'm doing my homework, so I always wind up getting the latest scoop on recent happenings. This, coupled with the fact that I'm naturally sarcastic, results in my undying love for The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. It's the funniest show ever. Watch it once, and you'll be hooked--I promise.
I also enjoy watching The Office series and the I Love the... series on VH1, and I am generally interested in anything that appears on the Food Network. Sometimes, I'll even watch HG-TV if I'm in the mood.
